If you qualify for the winter fuel payment and are above the state pension age (66 years and older), you will receive an additional £300 in the winter of 2024. If you are eligible, you will receive a letter by December 2024 (if you have not already) informing you of the total amount of your winter fuel payment.
You qualify for the Cost of Living Payment of £300 if you were entitled to receive a payment (or later determined to be eligible for a payment) of income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance (JSA), income-related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA), Income Support, or Pension Credit for any day within the period from 18th August 2023 to 17th September 2023.
